We’re also making a one-off payment of $250 for 17,770 local pensioners and carers and increasing their regular payments. And we’re creating an extra 50,000 Home Guarantee Scheme places to help first homebuyers buy their own home.

We’re investing record funding in aged care to help the 20,000 seniors living locally and we’re helping make childcare more affordable.

I’m proud that we’re investing in our local communities, with better facilities and public spaces and a healthy local environment that families can enjoy now and into the future, like $400,000 for a new clubhouse for the Moore Park Surf Life Saving Club, $2.5 million for the expansion of the Gladstone PCYC and more than $4 million for the Ivy Anderson Village project.
