Vivian Lobo has a clear plan for Lilley
1
Helping with cost-of-living pressures

Supporting local families with their household budget pressures, like cutting the fuel excise in half, saving you 22 cents per litre for six months. The LNP Government is also making a one-off $250 payment to 15,428 local pensioners and carers and increasing their regular payments. And we’re making childcare affordable for local families.

2
Securing our economic recovery to create well paid local jobs

Our economic plan lowers taxes for families and small business and invests in skills, infrastructure and manufacturing. Around 72,600 local low and middle income earners will receive up to $1,500 in further tax relief this year, including a one-off $420 Cost of Living tax offset. And our tax incentives will allow 18,900 local businesses to write-off the full value of any eligible asset they purchase.

3
Building better local roads and easing congestion

The LNP Government is investing in fixing local roads to save lives and reduce travel times. Local projects include $800 million for upgrades on the Gateway Motorway from Bracken Ridge to Pine Rivers and $50 million towards Beams Road improvements between Lacey Road in Carseldine to Handford Road in Zillmere.

4
Better access to quality health, aged care adn education for local families

Investing in better services and a stronger Medicare and delivering more than 501,000 Telehealth consultations since 2020. The LNP Government is funding more than 1.8 million free or subsidised medicines locally each year. We’re investing record funding in aged care to help the 22,854 seniors living locally, while funding for public schools will increase by over 30% to 2029.

5
Protecting our local lifestyle and enviroment

I’m proud that the LNP Government is investing in our local communities, with better facilities, public spaces and a healthy environment that families can enjoy now and into the future. We’ve responsibly committed to net zero emissions by 2050 and our policies have supported the installation of 21,400 rooftop solar panels locally.

Our Plan is Building a Strong Economy for a Stronger Future

Creating more, better paid jobs.

Delivering tax relief for workers and small businesses.

Investing in roads, public transport and renewables.

Making record investments in health and aged care.

Investing in stronger defence to make Australia safer.
