Supporting local families with their household budget pressures, like cutting the fuel excise in half, saving you 22 cents per litre for six months. The LNP is also making a one-off $250 payment to 16,640 local pensioners and carers and increasing their regular payments. And we’re making childcare affordable for local families.
Our plan lowers taxes for families and small business and invests in skills, infrastructure and manufacturing. Around 74,900 local low and middle income earners will receive up to $1,500 in further tax relief this year, including a $420 cost-of-living tax offset. And our tax incentives will allow around 18,800 local businesses to write-off the full value of any eligible asset they purchase.
The LNP Government investing in fixing local roads to save lives and reduce travel times. Local projects include, major M1 Pacific Motorway and Logan Motorway upgrades, the Rochedale to Priestdale Road intersection, and Brisbane to Gold Coast Rail upgrades at Kuraby. The LNP has also jointly committed $1.8 billion to the SEQ City Deal.
Investing in better services and a stronger Medicare by delivering more than 656,000 telehealth consultations since 2020. We’ve funding more than 2.7 million free or subsidised medicines locally every year and we’re investing record funding in aged care to help the 18,457 seniors living locally. Public school funding will increase by over 30% to 2029.
I’m proud the LNP is investing in our local communities, with better facilities and public spaces and a healthy environment that families can enjoy now and into the future, like construction of a new local recycling centre, and upgrade to the Marsden SS Community Hub and Springwood AFL Club. The LNP is committed to Net Zero emissions by 2050 and our policies have supported the installation of 31,200 rooftop solar panels locally.
